If you look in the forums, you'll see that we are *not* dead. Jaspos is continuing to work on a brand-new map that should be good for you Descent 3 lovers, and the enhanced audio effects from Narfig "Garbagecan"(*) Agar. I'm hacking together a fantastic trailer with the help of some of the Descent community members, and I know you'll all love the new guns that shoot even bigger and badder and more hurtingfull bullets.
Oh, and there's some minor fixes like not having a standard Doom3 GUI and not being able to start a server from the Multiplayer menu, and not getting stuck on walls when trying to turn.
And there's this thing called "triye-chourdinge", I don't know what it is, some kind of shoe accessory or something. But it's in 003 too.
Just little itty-bitty stuff, you know.

Ungineering. He's already been hard at work on a new IC map, ic_tumbler, with screenshots available on his site and a nice little discussion going in our forum.

Click either of the above images to see larger scans procured by team members Tron and LDAsh. Oh, and if you're visiting us after having tried out IC 001 on the DVD, be sure to snag IC 002 from moddb.

We're pleased to announce the release of version 0.0.2 of Into Cerberon, codenamed "Copper". This release ups the ante on 0.0.1 by including a brand-new map (Spectre's "ic_mine"), a functional HUD, new sound effects and music, and tons of bugfixes. Multiplayer is working well but may suffer in high-lag situations due to incomplete code that we hope to rectify in 0.0.3. Doom 3 1.3 is required (but not RoE). This release includes binaries for Windows, Mac, and Linux, and we've even tested that Linux<->Windows play works fine!
Narfig is will be running an IC 0.0.2 server at 220.127.116.11 all day today, so get downloadin'!
Thanks for playing Into Cerberon!

I really do apologize to the Mac and Linux fans out there, I really had no idea people would be so eager to play something that we ourselves considered buggy and merely a play-test. As a result of seeing many ":(" smilies in e-mails and on IRC, we rushed into production a Linux version of IC 0.0.1 to satisfy the penguins among us:
Download Into Cerberon 0.0.1 'Coal' (Linux) from moddb
Download Into Cerberon 0.0.1 'Coal' (Linux) from Doom 3 Files
Download Into Cerberon 0.0.1 'Coal' (Linux) from 3DDownloads
Download Into Cerberon 0.0.1 'Coal' (Linux) from Doom Wad Station
Everyone please note, that because everyone's on a separate package, you will probably not be able to connect to players on a different system than your own (no Linux<->Mac<->Windows play). Rest assured that all future releases of IC will include all three binaries, to eliminate this confusion and to allow everyone to play together!

ApplCrypt for compiling the Mac binary; you could say that his "reward" for doing so was being the first Mac owner to play IC ;).
